Alpha 2 Omega supports asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants to move from survival to stability by building the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to access work, training, or enterprise. Many of the people we work with face barriers such as language, lack of recognition of qualifications, financial hardship, and limited access to networks. Alpha 2 Omega provides tailored pathways that help people believe in their potential and take practical steps towards a brighter future.

What We Do

We combine employability training, enterprise guidance, and personal development to help participants find the right opportunities for their journey. Whether someone is looking for their first job in the UK, wants to start a business, or needs support with skills development, Alpha 2 Omega walks alongside them from the beginning to the end of the process.

Our services include:

  • Employability workshops covering CV building, interview skills, and job readiness.
  • Enterprise support for those interested in starting small businesses, including mentoring and practical guidance.
  • Skills-building sessions such as IT, communication, and workplace English.
  • One-to-one advice and coaching to build confidence and map personalised pathways into work or enterprise.
  • Advocacy and referrals to training providers, further education, and local employers.

One participant shared, “When I joined Alpha 2 Omega, I felt stuck and hopeless. Today I have a job interview lined up and for the first time I feel like I have a future here.” Another told us, “I always dreamed of running my own small business. With the support and advice I received, I have started selling my products and I feel proud again.”
